About · Est. 2026 · Shawnigan Lake, BC

Lucas's first business.

It's a garage sale, but online, so nobody has to stand in the driveway at 7 a.m. arguing over a dollar.

How this happened

Every family has a garage. Ours filled up with outgrown shoes, soccer cleats from seasons gone by, snow gear, and a 3D printer that would like to be calibrated by somebody new.

Dad looked at the pile and saw money he'd already spent. Lucas looked at the pile and saw a business. They agreed on one thing: it had to go out the door.

So now it's a shop. Lucas runs it. Dad supplied the inventory, mostly by buying all of it in the first place.

Where your money goes

Every sale splits two ways.

Dad's share is 0%, plus his garage back. The money he spent on all this stuff goes back to Lucas, which is where it was going anyway.

The fine print

Is it really Lucas's business?
Yes. He's the owner, the brand and the domain name. Dad is head of logistics, which means he carries the heavy things to the car.
Do you ship?
No. Pickup only, in Shawnigan Lake. The business has not yet acquired a truck.
Can I haggle?
Politely, yes. Every item has a Make an offer button, and fair offers get a yes.
Who answers my questions?
An assistant answers the easy ones right away. Anything tricky goes to a human, who replies by email.
Why is everything a little worn?
It's a garage sale. If it were new, we'd be a store. The wear is in the description and the photos.
What happens to things that don't sell?
The price drops twice, and if it still hasn't found a home, it's donated.
Can I talk to the owner?
Write to shop@lucas.biz. The owner has school, so Dad might answer.
